Dear Readers,
This blog is not about us. It’s about spiritual insights to help you in your everyday life. However, given the big move we have made from the United States to South Africa, some of you may be curious about our experiences along the way.
Recently, Annette wrote a two-part article recounting some of the events of our move to Soweto for our church’s official publication, The Messenger. It appeared in the June and July/August issues. Here are links to the two issues, in PDF format:
- The Messenger, June 2020, page 76 (page 12 of the PDF)
- The Messenger, July/August 2020, page 88 (page 8 of the PDF)
Enjoy!
Please pray for the South African farm murders to stop, please help us. Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
Hi Leon,
Yes, and for the families and friends of the victims. A historical wrong was done by one group of people against another group of people in South Africa. The effects of that wrong are still with us today. But that doesn’t justify murder. Two wrongs don’t make a right. This was Mandela’s message, and his greatness.
Hi Lee,
I hope you are doing well in South Africa! Enjoy yourself! One day I would like to visit Africa myself.
Hi Autumn,
Life is a challenge here, but it is a good challenge. If you do visit Africa one day, which I hope you will, please do stop by our humble abode in South Africa.
