Death and Rebirth, by Lee Woofenden

Here is a book that I wrote in 1995 when I was in seminary, and finally got into print a decade later in 2005:

Death and Rebirth

From Near-Death Experiences to Eternal Life

by Lee Woofenden

What happens when we die?

And what difference does it make here and now?

Our journey into the afterlife is no longer a mystery. Thousands of people who nearly died have experienced its early stages and come back to tell us about it. And in his spiritual classic Heaven and Hell, Emanuel Swedenborg provided a detailed account of what happens to us after death.

In Death and Rebirth, Lee Woofenden draws on both of these sources to offer a clear picture of what it is like to die, and of the path we travel afterward to reach our eternal home. He also shows how the various stages of our after-death journey provide a map and compass for our journey of spiritual rebirth right here in the material world.

“Death’s deeper meaning is re-awakening and continued life.”

  1. Angel says:

my biggest question is,,how soon after i die will i be with my husband who died 3 years ago?

    • Lee says:

      Hi Angel,

Most likely, he will be there to greet you when you reach the other side. And if not, you will see him soon afterwards. Then you can resume your former life together as husband and wife.

What do you think?
